Purposefully Annoying - These two words summarises one of the few rules which restrict the liberal freedom of speech in this forum. It means that if your behaviour is "purposefully annoying", some or all of your posts may be censored or deleted; in the worst-case scenario, you may be banned from the forum. This has only happened twice: once with D4dumbass and once with rats.

As the forum's administrator Big Brother tries to limit the restrictions on the freedom of speech as far as possible, this has become a somewhat controversial issue; especially since it has never been properly defined what "purposfully annoying behaviour" is. In effect, it's up to the administrator Big Brother to decide when a post meets these criterium. The biggest controversy concerning this rule, apart from The Batshit Wars occurred during Flightgate.

The following behaviours have been under discussion in the past and could be declared purposefully annoying behaviour:

  • Any kind of spamming.
  • Perpetual flaming.
  • Repetitive posting.
  • Pointless or unintelligible posting.
  • Posting offensive graphic material.

Purposefully annoying behaviour can of course take a multitude of expressions and it's up to the administrator Big Brother to decide when this rule should be applied.

For the record, this issue is usually, but not necessarily always, discussed democratically in the forum.
