Ingsoc helmet - The helmet worn by guards and soldiers in the adaptation from 1984 is most probably an old helmet from before World War II: the Polish m/31. Whether the production team molded their own helmets after the Polish design or used genuine helmets is unknown.

Not much information about the m/31 is available, but it seems to have been standard equipment in the Polish army and used to a limited extent in the German and Finnish armies as well. Evidently, the model is quite rare and difficult to obtain.

The Eurasian helmet that can be seen in the propaganda reel in the beginning of the movie seems to be identical to the Oceanian one. In other words, the photage has probably been produced by the Ministry of Truth.
