The Batshit Wars were two periods in the history of the forum marked by calls of ad hominem attacks and terrorist-enabling, islamofascist, leftist cliques by rats.

[edit] First Batshit War
The beginning of the First Batshit War was marked by the creation of the Concerning "rats" (soon before the adoption of italics) thread by Comrade Nikolai Kirov on June 8, 2006. It ultimately spawned what may be one of the longest lasting flame wars in recent internet history and is certainly the longest flamewar and thread (at 459 posts) in the history of this forum, ultimately ending on November 12, 2006, when he was finally banned from the forums for taking up so much of our time.
[edit] Second Batshit War
On March 5, 2007, Kirov resurrected the Concerning rats thread when he realized that rats had been unbanned. (see page 10 of the aforementioned thread) Comrade Mephistopheles told rats that his account on the forum had been reactivated on his blogspot site. Fortunately, he only posted thirteen times before finally announcing defeat on the forum on March 25, 2007. Thus the Second Batshit War ended.

On September 20, 2007, Orwelliantherye discovered that rats had returned to the forum. Only time will tell where this leads us.
