Ingsoc - English Socialism. If we can trust Winston Smith's memory, the term didn't appear before the year 1960, possibly with the exception of its oldspeak name English Socialism.

In Goldstein's book was written, "[Ingsoc] rejects and vilifies every principle for which the Socialist movement originally stood, and it chooses to do this in the name of Socialism".
